7:25 am	A loud ca-cawing murder of crows and my assisting cat insisted a 7:15 alarm is no time to wake up. Rapping at my chamber door around 6:25 is what this bird/feline duo prefer. After a back teeth floating pee, blowing green boogies into a Kimberly Clark tissue, and seeing a beautiful sun peek over the trees I have to agree. Regardless I guess it logical that I will most often prefer manmade electronics to nature for wake-up calls, even if it is solely for the sake of 50 more minute of shut eye. That is after all when I must wake up to start my day, get my 8 hours in, and have some time with wife, baby and maybe a minute or two to self. (7 Comments |Comment on this)

3:10 pm	I will pass along this link to the 2005 SPX Anthology which recently provided it's list of contributers for this year. As all 2 of you know I have submitted comic book stories (alone or colloborative efforts) to the unpaid anthology open to free submissions and all proceeds going to the CBLDF for 4 (FOUR) years now. I just learned that again I am denied print in the book. Oh well? It hurts less each time. Wasn't it Henry David Thoreau that said something like 'most men live in quiet desperation.'
